Lima Metro Line 1 – Section 1 and Section 2

The project was considered an emblematic work for transportation in the city of Lima

 

 

Project description:

 

The Lima metro transports more than 300,000 passengers daily. In total, around 34 km were built in total, being the first mass transportation electrical system in Peru.

Section 1 covers 22 km distributed in 16 passenger stations. The section crosses the most populous districts of Lima. Section 2 is 12.4 km long and has 10 stations, SSEE and a 32,000 m2 shunting yard. In 2015, this megaproject received the “ENR Best Global Projects” award from the publication ENR – Engineering News Record, which is considered one of the biggest labels in the sector worldwide.

 

Our services include:


– Section 1: Preparation of the technical file, construction and equipment.
– Section 2: Design, construction, supplies, installation, electromechanical assembly, preliminary tests and commissioning of the elevated viaduct. Additionally, the construction of an 11,000 m2 workshop yard.
