Aurora Gold Mine

The project is a gold mine in the English Guyana, located approximately 170 km west of the capital Georgetown.

 

 

Project description:

 

The project was executed through a joint venture contract with the Sedgman company; company with global experience in mining projects. Despite the remote location – which brought quite a few logistical challenges – the technical complexity and the language, CUMBRA was committed to making this project come true safely, based on a zero accident policy.

Delivered in 2015, the project begins to produce in August of the same year, which reaffirms the quality of work developed by our more than 200 collaborators involved in the work during the construction and delivery of the project.

 

Our services include:

 

  • EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of the concentrator plant, primary crusher, conveyor belt, screen, SAG mill (7.9 ‘x 5.3’), tanks for adding cyanide to the process, adsorption tanks, coal regeneration area, gold production quarter, among others.
